Wild Game Policies

We accept only fresh / fresh frozen venison and wild game.  It must be boneless, trimmed, and clean (additional fee for meat which requires further boning or cutting). All boneless wild game is inspected at the time of drop-off and a second time before meat is processed.  Boneless wild game not meeting our processing standards cannot be accepted for processing.

Transport meat for processing in clean, clear food-safe plastic bags; do not use black plastic refuse bags, non-food or dirty containers.

A deposit of $1.00 per lb. of trim is required at the time of order.  Orders received without a deposit will be held until deposit amount is received.

All carcass deer (wild game) are tagged, kept separate, and stored under refrigeration upon delivery. We skin, cut, and wrap each deer individually. You receive your wild game cuts back.

We can process any of our custom sausage menu items as a "Keep Separate Venison Order". However, a 24# minimum batch size per sausage item and an additional $0.50 / lb. fee is added to the list price.
All meat from goose/poultry, bear, caribou, and moose are accepted as
"Keep Separate" orders only.

IMPORTANT
We will contact you when your order is complete.  We request all orders are picked up within 3 to 5 days of contact.  Orders not picked up within 10 days will be charged a $5.00 per week freezer fee.  Customer is responsible for verifying the e-mail / telephone contact information listed on order is correct.

We commit to giving our customers the very best products as promptly as we can.  Turnaround times for wild game processing vary depending on the demand at time of drop-off.  Due to the volume we take in, it is not possible to give an estimated completion date.  Processing times are determined by date received, product batching, and number of items ordered.  We will contact you as soon as your order is completed.
